Gymnase, is a training center offering group classes of various intensities, private sessions, along with sports care delivered by health professionals (kynesiologists, massage therapists, osteopaths).
The classes are offered by teachers in various specializations (Pilates, HIIT, calisthenics, boxe, Animal Flow). All, however, champion the theories and aims of functional training : training the body in all its functions - cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance.
Here, everyone takes care of everyone else’s well-being.
Training means being able to move easily for a long time.
Training is not a way of life, it's as normal as lunch.
Lunch is not a way of life.
We are welcomed at the gymnasium at the beginning of the year.
It’s a space for big meetings and games.
Gymnase, is a stop during your day, a familiar place.
We also train to enjoy the rest of our life.
OUR STAFF
Maude Smith Gagnon
Founder and owner of Gymnase, has been offering classes of various intensities for 18 years, focusing on the precision of Pilates, the fluidity of Animal Flow and the intensity of HIIT. Her various trainings allowed her to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the body and posture. She specializes in clients with a particular physical condition (injuries, back pain, people with arthritis or tendonitis, etc.).
Floriane Ho Quang

She has 15 years of experience as an interactive systems designer and training in neurophysiology, cognitive science, functional training, volleyball training, perinatal training, yoga (500 hours Naada YTT), birth and breastfeeding support, movement optimization (maiRehab), prevention and treatment of running injuries (clinique du coureur), and osteopathy (IEOQ).
Floriane offers flows and workouts that are both effective and fun, combining modern knowledge of biomechanics and physiology with the holistic vision of yoga and osteopathy. Her sessions focus on movements that leave room for exploration and can be transferred to the challenges of modern life outside the studio.
She designs her classes like her design projects: with you and your needs at the heart of everything. Feel free to come and chat with her; she loves to receive suggestions and adapt her flows and exercises to your specific needs and injuries. And for a personalized approach, come and see her for osteopathy.
